Tanya Mickey is the Founder and Owner of Dermal Skin & Laser Centre

After spending 23 years as an aesthetician, it was a natural direction for Tanya to move into a full medical spa. Advances in the area of cosmetic medical laser equipment, now allow her and her clinicians to treat conditions such as spider veins, acne and Rosacea, as well as hair removal. Tanya finds that successfully treating these types of conditions, which often cause social embarrassment and isolation for people, is extremely personally rewarding.

The goal of Dermal Skin & Laser Centre is to provide a “discreet, caring and professional atmosphere dedicated to providing you with the latest science and technology to keep you looking and feeling your very best.”

In order to accomplish her vision, Tanya has obtained expertise in performing the following procedures: photo-rejuvenation, removal of broken capillaries, microdermabrasion, chemical peels, and laser hair removal. She also offers medical grade skin care specializing in acne, Rosacea and skin pigmentation disorders.

Sometimes, however, even Tanya’s many skills and talents are not enough, so three to four times a year she brings in her medical consultant Dr. Andrew Denton, a Board Certified Facial Plastic Surgeon and Director of Facial Plastic Surgery at Vancouver General Hospital. Dr. Denton helps expand Dermal Skin and Laser Centre's menu of services by offering Botox and other injectables as well as consultations for face-lifts, liposuction, laser resurfacing and other advanced cosmetic surgical procedures. Dr. Denton sees and treats patients at Dermal Skin and Laser Centre where services are provided in a discrete, hygienic, private location with a caring and attentive staff.

Tanya is happy to sit down with clients for a private consultation to educate them on their choice options and discuss their concerns. In this way she can explain all the treatment options available to her clients to “keep them looking and feeling their very best”.
